Happy Valentine’s Day! When I think of this holiday, the first thing that comes to mind is chocolate! And If you know anything about me, you know dark chocolate is my weakness!
Having a massive sweet tooth while one a super restrictive diet is very difficult! I love brownies so much, but they always hurt my stomach. I’m the kind of person who knows what I want and I will make it happen; and I wanted brownies that tasted amazing and didn’t hurt my stomach… so I set out on a quest… a Pinterest quest nevertheless!
I came upon a recipe that was titled “Healthy Brownies”, I was instantly intrigued. It looked easy enough so I went to the store and picked up a few things, came home, and made them!
It was so much easier than a regular brownie recipe, and y’all the bake time was half that of a traditional brownie recipe! Who wants to wait 45 minutes for brownies… Not me! This recipe took 18 minutes to bake. For that reason alone they are a win!
After they came out of the oven and had time to cool, it was finally time to eat them… YES! So first impression: AMAZING! Second impression: DELICIOUS! You guys, these taste exactly like regular brownies and they were so easy to make (not to mention, healthier for you)! Best of all, they didn’t make my stomach hurt! I wish I would have found out about this recipe sooner, this is now my new go-to brownie recipe. Regardless of any dietary restrictions, this is the best recipe; hands down!
